Our Crops
Corn
Field corn is also dent corn, commercial corn or yellow corn. The difference among field corn hybrids is starch or oil content, number of days between planting and harvest, tolerance to drought, stalk stability, etc. It is a diverse grain that is grown for food, feed and fuel. The brands of corn we grow at JEH Farms are Pioneer, Becks, Channel and Dekalb.
Soybeans
The soybean is a species of legume native to East Asia, widely grown for its edible bean, which has numerous uses like meal, animal feed, food products like protein alternatives and soy milk, oil, and industrial uses like biodiesel. At JEH Farms, we primarily plant Becks and Asgrow soybeans.
Seed Corn
At JEH Farms we grow Seed Corn for Syngenta.
